There are two pieces to the device, a USB transmitter and a receiver. The receiver must be connect to the projector via a VGA cable and then plugged into a power source. The USB transmitter will work (after the software is installed) when plugged in. The video quality is very nice.

When the USB transmitter is plugged into the computer AND a connection with the receiver has been established the system sound will stop working. This is an issue with the wireless device; Diamond Multimedia is aware of the issue and are hopefully working to resolve it. Sorry.
