Turning Point
Turning Point
Data collection technology that gives students the opportunity to give immediate feedback to their teachers. There are three separate programs that have been released by the parent company, Turning Technologies.
* (for PowerPoint)* Anywhere (non PowerPoint; i.e. released questions, oral assessments, etc...)* (allows students to answers questions at their own pace)
TurningPoint sets come with 40 response cards, a software CD, and a receiver in a carrying case. Mike Everett in Discipline is the distributor of TurningPoint sets. Each response card runs on two AAA batteries that can be accessed using a phillips screwdriver.
Software
There have been multiple updates to the software released since the we have procured the sets and thus the software on the included CD is old. Teachers wanting to install the software onto their (new) desktop computers will need to download a newer version of the software from here. The software on the included CD will properly function on the Toshiba laptops that have been issued by the school.
