New Tablets (Lenovo Yoga)
These new tablets are running Windows 8. Office 2010 and Java should have been installed on them before they were distributed.
Turning Point
Data collection technology that gives students the opportunity to give immediate feedback to their teachers. There are three separate programs that have been released by the parent company, Turning Technologies.
- TurningPoint (for PowerPoint)
- TurningPoint Anywhere (non PowerPoint; i.e. released questions, oral assessments, etc...)
- TestingPoint (allows students to answers questions at their own pace)
TurningPoint sets come with 40 response cards, a software CD, and a receiver in a carrying case. Alicia Bonnett in Discipline is the distributor of TurningPoint sets. Each response card runs on two AAA batteries that can be accessed using a phillips screwdriver.
